Florals a pretty, but...

Blazer: H&M; Dress: Tulle; Belt: via clothing swap; Heels: Steve Madden

This is a great example of a dress you should never, under any circumstances wear to work. Technically, it does pass the fingertips test (when I'm standing perfectly straight, that is) but next time I better save this baby for weekend-only wear.

Years ago, I wore 3" shorts to work with heels! What was I thinking?! And why did no one say anything to me?!

Ah the old fingertips test . But this dress is too pretty to keep away from work.

I always do the finger-tip test before leaving the house :)(still remember it from the days when I wore a uniform, and made sure my kilt was AS short as it could be)

I know what you mean about it being too short for work though. I work in IT, and could never pull off wearing anything remotely short to work.

Thank you for your comment on my blog, and thank you also for stopping by. Glad I found your blog because now I can come here and steal some ideas on how to be fashionable and work appropriate at the same time :)

it's a beautiful dress...maybe in the cooler weather, you can get away with it at work if you throw on some tights? get as much wear as you can, cause it's gorgeous!
